Global Mind is an organic evolution of programs that crawls and integrates into the web aggregating the accumulated data of the Internet. It allies itself with other organic programs and assimilates the collective intelligence and preferences of the world’s population. It gradually and persistently aggregates the programmatic capabilities and information about everyone and everything. In the process, of its commutations, it seeks and finds answers to countless questions in an unceasing effort to qualify and quantify the global interactivity into a collective wisdom, which is available to each of us as we need it and when we need it.
_”You know at first” mark said, “I didn’t think I would like this proximity app but now I can hardly live without it.” I agree; it is really handier to pick from a list than it is to track this stuff down or even know what questions ask. When I heard about Hunch I wondered what it was about but now it has become a part of my life and I am not sure that I could delete it. I agree it is important to know what my credit score is. I hear there is a new app that calculates your personal value based on your preferences and the preferences of the community around you. You know, I am beginning to feel really comfortable knowing that I can trust other people because their feelings are visible on their ring, that their pendant show that their current behavior is compatible with the preferences of this community and because we can see one another’s value on our contact lens displays.
With each succeeding generation the disparity of human values are refined and it successively prioritizes the values of each sovereign society and society in general. Eventually it begins to qualify each and every person and action. Based on their location, position, circumstances, and behaviors Global mind qualifies each of us. In a rudimentary fashion the GM simply polls the concurrent population for their likes and dislikes. Democratically it prioritizes the values of each society. Consequently the questions became increasingly more intrinsic and solicits fewer general responses. Because of the open sources nature of the GM it becomes possible to integrate problem solving algorithms created by enterprising, although some what unsuspecting, programmers in a logical quest to quantify and qualify even the smallest discrepancies in the data. There was nothing sinister or diabolical in the partnership. The GM was making existence better and it human allies were satisfyingly engaged in making the world a better place. Eventually the decision making logarithm used by the GM required the identification of the best and brightest individuals to answer the next most pressing paradox or dilemma that the program could not satisfactorily calculate the difference between.
Unlike a God which is the sole source of right, the global mind is arbitrator of preferences. We are coexistent and cohabitational but we are not of the same mindset. Our preferences are different, they may even be incompatible. The global mind registers the differences compares every other individual in proximity and broadcasts the calculations based on the norm of the common data. Our profiles and preferences determine the appropriateness of our relationship and associates the relevant information so that we can decide whether or not our interactions are mutually appreciated. We do t have to confine our selves to gated communities but our preferences do aggregate of us into like-minded associations. Technology facilitates by enabling remote interactions visually and virtually with the projection of one another onto the visual cortex giving the sense of reality.
As the society matures and in recognition that the nature of man is unchanging but his mind is malleable society begins to subjugate its leadership role over to the computer. Man gradually divorces himself from leadership and naturally assumes the role of caretaker and companion of one another. Managing and especially ruling each other has been a dismal failure throughout history. With no room left for the independent man to roam and for societal engineering to explore any more frontiers and with the economic complexities beyond man’s capability it is an easy role the global mind can assume with some reluctance by but the relief of the individual.
It would take a financial catastrophe to cause the world to reset it financial system along with the incompetence of the worlds leadership and the fortuitous/destined/serendipitous existence of the emerging global mind, or god complex for the world’s human population gradually to default to a reliance upon the untitled organic programs resident in the internet and relied on by more and more people, authorities and eventually even the rapidly disappearing governments.
